The Ode of Remembrance

The Ode of Remembrance es un poema que se recita en la tumba de los militares que han caido en combate en el extranjero. Este poema lo dedico a John Scrope Colquitt en el bicentenario de su muerte. Él murió y fue enterrado en Alcalá de Guadaíra tan lejos de su patria y de sus queridos.

Four arrested on suspicion of Liverpool city centre murder

Acabo de leer esta curiosa noticia en la prensa inglesa relacionada con la calle Colquitt de Liverpool.

FOUR men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a Liverpool city centre attack in the early hours of September 2^nd 2012. Officers were called to  Colquitt Street around 2.45am following reports of an assault. There they found 33-year-old Stuart Smith, from London, who was taken to hospital where he died a short time later. A Home Office post mortem is underway to establish the cause of death. Four men, aged 39, 39, 33 and 27, all from the London area, have been arrested on suspicion of murder  and are being questioned by detectives.  Officers are keen to talk to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident. They are particularly keen to trace a man who may have captured part of the assault on his camera phone.  Anyone with information is asked to call detectives on 0151 777 4065 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
